Texas Tech’s Contest against the University of Texas Has a Kickoff Time
The Red Raiders will take on the Texas Longhorns at 11:00 AM for the final home game of the season. Texas Tech previously defeated UT in Austin on Thanksgiving last year. The Red Raiders have not won against Texas in back to back years since the 1997-1998 seasons. The Longhorns lead the all-time series 49-16. Both teams have had a lackluster season which really leaves this game as a toss-up. For the Red Raiders, it means one more game that could possibly make them bowl eligible. For Texas, it’s a diagnosis of how bad the program has fallen off.
Just in: #TexasTech and Texas will kick off at 11 am on Nov. 5. The game will be carried on @FS1 & the Texas Tech Sports Network. #WreckEm pic.twitter.com/ycwu7BNUbe

Patrick Mahomes II Named Big 12 Co-Offensive Player Of The Week
In the 66-59 loss to Oklahoma this past Saturday, the sophomore quarterback set an FBS record for total yards. He personally accounted for 819 total yards. The record was previously held by Washington State’s Connor Halliday with a total of 751 yards. Mahomes, although breaking the record, commented on his performance in the loss rather than his historical game.
Mahomes on his record-breaking night: "Definitely could've done better. A lot of throws I underthrew, overthrew. ... it wasn't good enough."
