Kansas State Trounces TexasTech, 45-13

Scott Sewell-USA TODAY Sports

The Wildcats never trail and demolish Texas Tech, 45-13.

More of the same, unfortunately, as Texas Tech loses to the Kansas State Wildcats. Texas Tech had two turnovers in the first half and Kansas State put 24 up on the board to Texas Tech's 7 points. For my money, Davis Webb looked like he wasn't completely comfortable. Still, Webb is making poor decisions and missing receivers and it could have been his shoulder or it could be more of the same.

The defense would look better in spurts, but to say that the defense is a work in progress is a really nice way to say it. Jake Waters gained huge chunks of yards and threw four touchdowns. He had only thrown 3 before today's game. Kansas State had over 500 yards of total offense tonight.

Webb threw 4 interceptions, his 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th of the year. That will tell you a lot about how the game played out. There's not a need for a lot of analysis when that happens.

We'll have more tomorrow with 10 thoughts.
