On Wednesday, it was revealed that former Texas Tech quarterback Patrick Mahomes will be on an upcoming episode of ESPN's Sports Science. This is an Emmy Award-winning TV series hosted by John Brenkus. On the show, technology is used to uncover sports' biggest myths and mysteries. Stay tuned in here to find out when the episode airs.
On Thursday it was announced that Patrick Mahomes will be one of the quarterback prospects to appear on Jon Gruden's QB Camp. This show airs as a part of ESPN's annual pre-draft coverage. Gruden will be meeting with seven QB prospects, breaking down film and participating in drills on the field.

According to Don Williams of the Lubbock Avalanche Journal, Patrick Mahomes has a sprained AC joint and will likely miss only 1-2 weeks. This is good news as the initial thoughts on the injury were more along the lines of broken collar bone or out for the season. A conservative timetable would put Mahomes back in time for the OU game, only missing the Kansas State and West Virginia games. It's not ideal but it could be a heck of a lot worse.
