Mark Adams and co. are putting the final pieces together on a revamped roster.

Just when you thought things were getting quiet, Mark Adams and co. are right back at it, landing another key recruit in Bryson Williams.

Texas Tech is getting another big man to go along with Daniel Batcho and Marcus Santos-Silva. Bryson Williams comes in a 6’8 and he uses all of that size. Last season, Williams average 15.1 points to go along with 7.4 rebounds. While it is a slight drop off in production from the past season, he still had some big games.

Williams is no stranger to Big 12 competition. In a late season matchup with Kansas, Williams dropped 23 and 13 on the Jayhawks and made it look easy. Not only is he a beast in the paint, but he can also shoot the 3. It’s not at the most efficient rate, but Williams still hit 27% of his 3 balls last season and could look to build on that playing along side Santos-Silva.

Williams will be a huge addition from Tech. This is just another big get from the portal from Mark Adams. Williams had interest from the likes of Texas, Arkansas and Washington. Mark Adams is showing he can recruit, and he can do it well.

Techs roster is 1 to 2 pieces away from being complete, and it looks like this roster is shaping out to be competitive in the Big 12.
