The Oklahoma Sooners are struggling this year with players like Buddy Heild moving on to the NBA. Since their win against Tech back on January 14th, which gave them their first Big 12 conference win, the Sooners only win was against #7 West Virginia 89-87 in overtime. Since then, they have lost four straight games. Those losses were to Iowa State, Texas, Florida, and Oklahoma State.
Oklahoma might have a losing conference record, but they are still very dangerous in this game. They have already beaten Tech once and who's to say they can't do it again. Tech has lost three of their last four games and need a win today to keep their slim NCAA Tournament hopes alive. Tech's last game at home was a 13-point win against the LSU Tigers in the Big 12/ SEC Challenge. They have only lost one game at home this season so far to Oklahoma State. Can Texas Tech get a huge bounce-back win at home after losing to Texas in Austin, or will the Sooners sweep the Red Raiders for the season?
