Hargrove’s grand slam leads Texas Tech to 11-2 win over California
If you haven’t been paying attention to what Texas Tech baseball has been doing, you have been missing out on a phenomenal start to the season. The Red Raiders are now 8-1 coming off a four-game sweep of the Cal Bears, who, to be fair, are just a percentage of what they were a year ago. In any case, Tech is sizzling heading into its Tuesday matchup against New Mexico, and then it’s the series marked on everyone’s calendar: the Shriners Children’s Hospital College Classic in Houston. Tech will get to measure itself up against blueblood baseball programs LSU, Ole Miss and Texas A&M. A good showing there will set the tone for the conference schedule.
