Drew Borsellino: It's been a fun ride

I have now been with Viva The Matadors for 2 years, but I must say goodbye. Many of you know I've been dealing with the recent loss of my mother and that accompanied with graduate school, getting my teacher certification, and looking to land a teacher position for the 2017/2018 school year has put a lot on my plate.

The past 2 years have been a ton of fun. I never thought I would be writing for a Texas Tech sports blog, but I'm so glad I took the risk. I look forward to Red Raider sports each week whether that be football, basketball, or baseball, but I will now be stepping back and watching it strictly as a fan. The VTM family has been great, and I've thoroughly enjoyed interacting with each and every one of you.
