The holiday season is a beautiful time of year. It brings families together, encourages charitable acts of kindness, and inspires hope in those who have lost some.
Because I care so much about the well-being of Texas Tech fans, I have been a very good boy this year so that all my Kliffmas dreams can come true!
For Crootmas my wish is simple: please don’t lose any more commits until after the new year. This time of year can be hard on folks who have to be away from their families. Hopefully through the buzz and bustle of the season, the Croots will stay true to the scarlet and black, hopefully til NSD.
Next season, I ask that David Gibbs’ defense shows the improvement I know they’re capable of. These young leaders gained so much experience in tough games. That, combined with the swagger they gained in a rebound performance during the Baylor game, this defense should make big strides next season.
Thinking about the Texas Tech offense with a top 70 or top 60 defense is what my most enjoyable dreams are made of.
One of the big ticket items on my list is for a good enough season from Texas Tech so that “Fire Kingsbury” twitter eggs will be silent for at least a few weeks. This may be an impossible ask, but Santa please do your best.
If I’m being greedy I’d love a losing first season for Texas under Tom Herman and a terrible year from OU and Baylor, but those would just be icing on the cake.
Most of all, more than any other wish there’s only one thing I really really need from my list for next season. All I really want this Kliffmas, is you.

Merry Kliffmas to all, and to all a good night.
