Recruiting on the South Plains | Updates on Echols-Luper, Adeboyejo and Paul

Players Cameron Echols-Luper, Quincy Adeboyejo and Dee Paul are all set to decide in the next week or so about where they intend on committing and Texas Tech is high on the list of all three players.

We're like a month or so away from National Signing Day and there were some recruiting notes that I found on the internets that I wanted to pass along.

NCAA Rule Changes

The NCAA is considering some rule changes and I don't have the time to get into all of them, but they are fairly significant. SB Nation's Bud Elliott has a lot of questions about how all of this will work and Bylaw Blog's John Infante has some thoughts as well.

ATH Cameron Echols-Luper

First, per OANOW.com, ATH Cameron Echols-Luper (Auburn, AL) has decommitted from Texas A&M after the Aggies have a handful of highly rated receivers and Echols-Luper felt the number crunch. The linked article states that Echols-Luper is scheduled to visit Texas Tech on the weekend of January 18th. Here is some video of Echols-Luper:

WR Quincy Adeboyejo

Per 247 Sports, that's the same weekend that another former TAMU commit, WR Quincy Adeboyejo (Cedar Hill, TX), is scheduled to visit Texas Tech.

ATH Dee Paul

Per BCH Sports Twitter (an Abilene sports station) ATH Dee Paul (Munday, TX) will decide on Saturday whether or not he'll attend Texas Tech, Baylor and Tennessee. V-Neck will be in attendance:
