Normally Texas Tech and Texas have a gentlemen's agreement when it comes to the bands traveling to games: the band doesn't pay for tickets. I don't have the official information on who does and who doesn't have this agreement, but I would assume that it's fairly common across the nation. Well, Patterson has revoked that agreement and is now charging the Goin' Band from Raiderland a pretty freaking ridiculous amount to have a seat in DKR.
Learned that Texas is charging #TexasTech's Goin' Band for tickets - $100 per. UT and TTU hadn't charged each other for band tix before now.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
This is a pretty crappy thing to do. I can see maybe charging a lower price for the band, but $100? That's just ridiculous. I can think of a lot of better things I can buy with $100.
- Around 16-17 One Guy's Calzones
- Around 370-390 packs of Ramen Noodles (That's a year's worth of gut wrenching awful food, but still food)
- 14 tickets to the drive-in
- 6 tickets to last week's TTU vs SHSU game
- A burnt orange Nike jersey (~$89), a 64oz can of lighter fluid ($5.62) and a Bic lighter (99 cents)
