After three straight losses, it felt good to see Tech finally get back on track and pick up a much-needed win. After their non-conference win over Arkansas, Tech will look to pick up their first Big-12 win in three tries. Tech will host TCU tonight on ESPN at 8:00 PM CST.
TCU will enter this matchup on a two game win-streak. The Horned Frogs picked up wins against Florida and Texas in their last two games. In TCU’s last two wins, the Horned Frogs have gotten big games from Kouat Noi. Noi has scored a combined 32 points. Noi could present a matchup issue for Tech. Chris Beard will likely try to guard Noi with Jarrett Culver or Tariq Owens.
The Texas Tech back-court played fantastic in Saturday's win over Arkansas. Davide Moretti scored a career best 21 points, Matt Money scored 12, and Kyler Edwards added seven. If Chris Beard is able to get this good of play from his guards on Monday, TCU does not stand a chance.
Both TCU and Texas Tech are looking to win the Big-12 and get into the NCAA tournament. TCU is a great program who has been unable to get big wins, but if the Horned Frogs march into Lubbock and take down Texas Tech, it could be a season changing win.
