This weekend has had so many highs and lows it was hard to keep up. On one hand, you had a big win by the Lady Raiders on the soccer field and the volleyball court. The football team got beat in pretty bad fashion as well. Here are your quick hitters from a pretty interesting weekend.
Tech Volleyball returns home after grueling road trip
The Lady Raiders have been on the road for well over a month now, and it’s been a rough one. They are still over .500, but have lost setter Alex Kirby to an injury for over a month. The good news is that these Lady Raiders now get to enjoy a nice home-stand before starting Big 12 play.
Lady Raiders Soccer win 6th game in a row
This Texas Tech soccer team has not only won it’s 6th game in a row with a 4-2 win over UC Irvine, it won another soccer tournament, claiming the Cougar Classic at Washington State University. Kirsten Davis is on track for a record breaking season as she has scored 9 goals in the Lady Raiders’ 8 matches and scored twice yesterday.
She’s always on the prowl!
