In the 10th round and with the 313th overall pick in the MLB Draft, the Milwaukee Brewers selected Texas Tech relief pitcher Taylor Floyd. Floyd’s current pick value is 142,200 dollars. Time will tell if he will be leaving Texas Tech or coming back for his final season of eligibility.

Floyd has been a crucial member of the back end of the bullpen this season. He has posted a 5-3 record with a 2.86 ERA. He has also had 3 saves so far this season and is looking to make another end of game appearance sometime in the Super Regional round of the NCAA Tournament this weekend.
We wish Floyd luck no matter what decision he makes. It sure has been great watching him in his first season here in Lubbock.
