The Red Raider baseball team can’t stop getting awards this season as freshman pitcher Micah Dallas has been selected to the D1 Baseball Freshman All-American Second Team. He has been stellar this season for the Red Raiders and has been greatly rewarded for it.

Dallas didn’t start the season in the rotation for the Red Raiders but became a regular in the rotation during Big 12 play. He had a 7-1 record on the season with a 3.60 ERA. He hurled 84 strikeouts in 76 innings pitched on the season.

He became one of the most solid pieces in the rotation through the entire season. He has earned this award and will most likely start out next season as the ace of the rotation for the Red Raiders. Congrats, Micah!
