From Scotland, Pennsylvania, Clarence Nadolny is a shooting guard that has been on the radar of a number of big schools around the country. Holding fourteen offers, Nadolny had recently narrowed his list down to three contenders: Texas Tech, West Virginia and Iowa State. Nadolny solidified that interest by setting up official visits and now has already been to Morgantown and Ames, but obviously saved the best for last. Moments ago Clarence notified the twitter-verse that he has arrived in Lubbock, Texas and will be enjoying the next few days in the good care of the 806’s greatest treasure: Coach Chris Beard.

Nadolny had commented before his visit that...
“[Tech] offered me in the National Prep School Tournament after my game against Putnam. Coach Beard and I have built a relationship pretty quickly, calling each other really often. The things that he liked about me was my toughness on the court, my defense, my ability to make play for my teammates and knock down shots. Losing his starting guard and point guard next year he told me that he needs me to come in right the way and play.”
The guard seems to illustrate a number of qualities that demonstrate best the 4:1 mentality of a Beard-led team. If the statement about coming right in and playing is true, then it would seem that Nadolny is the right fit for the team next season. Hope the young man enjoys his time in Lubbock and wants to come back officially in the Scarlet and Black!
