Even though basketball season ended just a week ago, the work is far from over for coaching staffs all over the country. Coach Chris Beard and his guys are no different. Starting this past Thursday and ending on Tuesday, Beard and his staff can go visit recruits and boy have they been hitting the trail hard. Here are some updates on recruits the Red Raiders have targeted.
Chris Harris Jr. - 4 Star (Rivals) 6’2, SG.
Harris had been committed to Texas A&M for well over a year before de-committing after the coaching change. While he has kept in contact with Buzz Williams’ new staff, he has added Texas Tech and Oklahoma State as potential destinations for the shooting guard.

Harris will be taking his official visit to Texas Tech next weekend, which might go well for the Red Raiders as they are fresh off a National Championship appearance. Let’s hope the visit is enough to get Harris Jr. to commit.
Clarence Nadolny: 3 Star 6’4 SG
Coach Beard and almost his entire staff went to watch Nadolny play this weekend. He is down to three schools as well, Iowa State, Texas Tech, and West Virginia. Coach Prohm from Iowa State is going to see Nadolny play Sunday. No word on official visits yet, but I assume he will be making some soon.

TJ Holyfield: Graduate Transfer 6’8 Forward
Holyfield announced earlier in the week that he will be taking an official visit to Lubbock in the near future. He is coming off an injury laden season at Stephen F. Austin. Holyfield brings a good amount of scoring and rebounding to the floor. He will also be visiting four other schools including Kansas.
