With all the success the men’s basketball program has been having, one story seemed to get swept under the rug from this weekend. It was reported on Friday and officially confirmed today that Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator Erin Grant was let go by Coach Marlene Stollings and Athletic Director Kirby Hocutt.

Grant was hired by Stollings last April as a part of her first staff here at Texas Tech. She also played at Texas Tech where she was a star-caliber player for the Lady Raiders and Marsha Sharp. Grant then went on to play one season for the Houston Sky of the WNBA. We wish her the best of luck in her future endeavors.
