This selection marks the 17th time the Red Raiders have made the NCAA tournament and the third time they’ve been a 3-seed. In Tech’s region will be 1-seed Gonzaga, 2-Michigan, 4-seed Florida State, and other top teams including 12-seed Murray State with collegiate superstar Ja Morant who will be looking to make a bigger name for himself. Last year, Tech was able to advance to the Elite 8 from their 3-seed behind the heroics of Keenan Evans and Zhaire Smith. This year, they’ll hope Jarrett Culver and Davide Moretti can go even further.
Final four: Duke, Texas Tech, Virginia, North Carolina.

Duke over Virginia to cut the nets.
Tech got one of the best draws in the entire tournament. Arguably the worst 1 seed and arguably the worst 2 seed. Not only that but once again getting a local location to start off with. Red Raider fans may need to clear their schedule for a potential trip to Minnesota
