With big time games this past Saturday, we finally saw teams climb and fall from the rankings.

With more key matchups this week, we expected to see much more excitement and week three did not disappoint. Six ranked teams were defeated including Arizona State, USC and Wisconsin who all lost to unranked teams.

With these big wins ad big losses, we saw major movement along the polls for the first time in this young season. After defeating formerly 17th ranked Boise State, Oklahoma State jumped up nine spots in the polls. While Wisconsin’s crushing defeat to BYU moved the Cougars into the rankings while sliding the Badgers down 12 spots. With conference season starting up, we can expect to see much more excitement.
