A new season of Texas Tech football is finally here! With a lot of new faces on offense and returning stars on defense, there are a fair amount of questions to be answered in this opener against Ole Miss. Ole Miss has a potent offense led by quarterback Jordan Ta’Amu and receiver AJ Brown, which should be a challenge for this experienced Red Raider secondary. Kliff Kingsbury has yet to announce a starter at quarterback, but all signs seem to be pointing to McLane Carter getting the start. Tech will need to get production early and often on offense to keep up with the high flying offense of Ole Miss, so whoever starts will have to be productive almost immediately.
