The staff takes a guess at everything from Tech’s overall record, to who will lead the team in every major category, to whether or not Kingsbury will get another year.

We are approximately 25 hours away from kickoff in Houston and, for now, the optimism surrounding Texas Tech football is abundant.

The evidence is in Viva the Matadors’ season predictions below, with a few exceptions (namely myself and Andrea) but overall, the confidence in Tech’s defense and Kliff Kingsbury’s ability to generate something out of nothing have made for some lofty expectations.
