Outside of Dakota Allen, Jah'Shawn Johnson is arguably one of the most crucial pieces of this year's football roster. Johnson has been instrumental in implementing coach David Gibbs scheme as he a is a turnover generating machine. Not only does he generate turnovers, but he was second on the team in tackles last season with 97. He was also in the top 10 last season in solo tackles.

Johnson heads into the 2018 season as a team captain and was named to the Jim Thorpe Award Watchlist for best defensive back in the country. Look for Johnson to improve upon his 11 career takeaways this season and cement his place as one of the best defensive backs to ever wear the scarlet and black.

Expect Johnson to to take care of business this season and hear his name called in the 2019 NFL Draft come April.

Unfortunately, Johnson is a gametime decision against Ole Miss one Saturday.
