We are just a few days away from Texas Tech’s first football game of the season against Ole Miss. There are a lot of great offensive players in this Texas Tech lineup from the experienced O-line to the talented running backs. Who will be the offensive MVP this year with all of this talent?
T.J. Vasher
Vasher emerged as one of Texas Tech’s leading receivers last year and I believe he will continue to impress. Last season, he was third on the team in receiving yards (545) and also totaled six touchdowns. Vasher started in five games and appeared in all 13. He also ranked fourth on the team with 29 receptions and averaged a team-leading 18.8 yards per catch. I believe Vasher will be the top receiver target this year and increase his stats from last season immensely. Hopefully we will see some more “horns down” hand motions (without the penalties) and catches like these this year.
