Texas Tech Red Raiders third-baseman Josh Jung and left fielder Grant Little are unequivocally the best duo in college baseball and it’s not really close.
Let’s just take a quick look at their stat lines:
Josh Jung is batting .387/.485/.673 with 10 home runs and 65 RBIs.
Grant Little is batting .382/.485/.673 with 10 home runs and 60 RBIs.
Damn near identical. Seriously, imagine taking the best player on your favorite baseball team and then cloning him. It’s not even fair.
The only duo in the nation with numbers like that are Kevin Strohschein and Chase Chambers, who actually have even bigger numbers but play for Tennessee Tech. Yeah, they’re hitting 82 MPH fastballs against Eastern Illinois and Murray State, big deal. Tech’s duo would be batting .800 in that conference, so, as Kendrick Lamar said, miss me with that BS.
In any case, this is just a PSA for all Tech fans to appreciate what they have in this year’s baseball team, because it’s special.
