Last year, Vegas set the over/under for total wins for Texas Tech at 5.5.
In case your memory is foggy, or if you selectively eliminated that season from your brain altogether, the Red Raiders finished right at six wins.
Those damn odds makers hit the nail on the head.
If you were hoping for a different projection in 2018, well, I hate to be the guy to break it to you, but Vegas is expecting a very similar turnout to this upcoming season.
On Monday, BetDSI Sportsbook posted season win totals for the 10 teams in the Big 12 Conference, and set Texas Tech’s over/under at 5.5. Interestingly, the Big 12 is the only Power 5 conference to have a multi-win difference between the top two teams. No other conference has more than one win between the two projected leaders.
