The struggles of this Red Raiders baseball team continued this week. This team has been unable over the past few weeks to string together the two to three hits that would be needed to win the game and series.
Zach Rheams the senior DH was the most productive hitter this week. He hit .500 with seven RBIs over the course of four games. Although the RBI production is not huge, in those four games he also drew seven walks. Rheams was on base constantly this week and when he was given the opportunity to see a good pitch he didn’t miss it.
Josh Jung and Grant Little had almost identical numbers from this week. Both were solid this week at the plate but by both of their standards it was a down week.
The Red Raiders look to bring their Big 12 slide to an end next weekend with the final series in Big 12 play against the Oklahoma State Cowboys.
