The Big 12 Conference announced its All-Big 12 and All-Freshman teams as well as all the conference awards on Tuesday. Several Red Raiders found themselves in the receiving end of these honors.

Freshman of the Year

For the second-straight year, the Red Raiders have the Big 12 Freshman of the Year. Gabe Holt took home the honor which was just one of three total awards for Holt. He was also named a first-team All-Big 12 member and was a unanimous selection to the Big 12 All-Freshman squad. Holt stole a league-high 27 bases and had 74 hits and 33 RBIs. In total, he was responsible for 57 runs including five home runs this season.

2018 All-Big 12 Baseball First Team

Though infielder Josh Jung led the Big 12 in five different categories, it wasnt enough to earn him player of the year as he only picked up first-team accolades. Both Jung and outfielder Grant Little earned unanimous first-team honors. Zach Rheams and Caleb Killian also received first team honors along with Holt. The five first-team All-Big 12 selections are the highest number in program history.
