Despite a loss in the series finale in Lawrence, Texas Tech achieved a positive 3-1 week that allowed them to earn another position in the weekly d1baseball.com ranking. The Red Raiders are now sixth, one spot higher than in last week’s standing.

Florida and Stanford are again leading the group, while Ole Miss dropped to the position no. 5 after it suffered two losses against Mississippi State. Its spot was taken by Arkansas, former no. 5, and North Carolina broke into the top 5 after winning two games in Louisville.

As usual, the Big 12 is represented by two teams, Texas Tech and Oklahoma, with the Sooners having another great week against former-ranked TCU that allowed them to gain four more positions in the rankings.
