After a 13-year drought, the Red Raiders won a Big 12 tournament quarterfinal and coach Chris Beard expressed his satisfaction in the postgame press conference, during which he was joined by seniors Keenan Evans and Tommy Hamilton IV.
In addition, coach Beard discussed the work ethic his players have, focusing on Evans, who’s obviously the cornerstone of his project, and said he didn’t have preferences between West Virginia and Baylor as the semifinal opponent (the game hadn’t been played yet - ed.).
Alongside him, Keenan Evans thanked all the staff and in particular lead athletic trainer Chris Williams for is rapid recovery from the injury, while Tommy Hamilton IV shared his appreciation about the aggressive offensive gameplan the team had on the night.
