Texas Tech snapped its four-game losing streak in the last game of the regular season, as it defeated TCU with a 44-35 second half that erased the 5-point deficit the team had at the halftime.

With this win and contemporary West Virginia’s loss to Texas, the Red Raiders earned the No. 2 seed in the upcoming Bod 12 tournament, and they’ll play on Thursday, March 8, at 5 p.m., against the winner of the Preliminary Round between the Longhorns and Iowa State.

After few games in which he battled a toe injury, Keenan Evans returned to show his talent on the court, as he scored 21 points (all the in the second half), leading the team in this stat. Niem Stevenson and Zhaire Smith also went double-figures, while Jarrett Culver led the team in rebounds, with seven.
