Winning ten games in a row is an impressive achievement in baseball, and doing so at the beginning of the season is even more impressive. The Red Raiders reached this goal on Friday night, as another collective effort led to a victory over No. 15 South Alabama, with the final score of 8-1.
Davis Martin earned his third win of the year in three games after a solid 5-inning outing in which he only allowed two hits, and was perfectly relieved by Dane Haveman, and Connor Queen, who threw two innings each without allowing hits. The offense produced eight runs through 12 hits, with five players having two each.
The weekend continues with a doubleheader against the Jaguars, with starting times set for noon and 4 p.m., but here there are the highlights of Game 1.
