In three of the five games played this week the Red Raiders scored under five runs in those games. Putting multiple hits together in an inning was a struggle this week and is reflected in the number of runs scored. Before the final game of the Baylor series, this team was only able to produce two runs in as many games.
However, of the 25 total runs scored this week Grant Little was responsible for eight of those. He produced seven RBI and scored one run this week in five games. He hit .474 this week and had three bases on balls.
Even on a night where he only managed one hit and the team was shut out, he hit the ball hard all night. Including his third at bat where he sent a well struck ball to the center fielder. Little has swung the bat well all season and continues to be a consistent run producer in the middle of the lineup.
Little and the Red Raiders will look to jump starting their bats again when they take on Northeastern University in a four game series this weekend.
