On Tuesday, coach Beard spoke with local media, discussing the upcoming game against Iowa State, set for today at 8 p.m., at the United Supermarkets Arena. The Cyclones are in the last place in the Big 12 with a 3-7 record, but we should remember one of their victories came against Texas Tech, by an 18-point margin, less than three weeks ago.
Coach Beard has this loss well impressed in his mind and, among other things, he expressed his hope the team will have a better performance than the one of the last meeting. He also spoke about the improvement senior guard Keenan Evans has done during the season and has the possibility to do in next months.
In addition, he touched other topics like freshman guard Davide Moretti’s last game and adjustments he’s doing to adapt himself to Big 12 games, and the depth his team is developing like a weapon to win games.
