Few minutes after the Red Raiders lost a heartbreaking game to the Jayhawks, almost certainly abandoning every possibility of a Big 12 title, coach Chris Beard, and freshmen Zhaire Smith and Jarrett Culver spoke with the media in a long press conference.
Coach Beard started his talk with an update over Justin Gray’s injury, which forced the senior to leave the game after less than a minute, and continued discussing Keenan Evans and Zach Smith’s statuses, as both are trying to recover from their problems. Among many other topics, he also praised his team for the effort it had on the court and the crowd that offered a magnificent atmosphere.
Next to him, Zhaire Smith shared his thoughts about the game, and about the performance of Kansas’ Devonte Graham, while Jarrett Culver answered to a question concerning his numbers from the three-point line.
