Texas Tech saw its 7-game winning streak snapped on Saturday, as it lost in Waco to Baylor. Considering Kansas’ simultaneous victory over West Virginia, the Red Raiders and the Jayhawks are now tied atop the Big 12, with two games of margin over Mountaineers and Kansas State.
The game of the Red Raiders lived on Keenan Evans’ injury in the first half, as Texas Tech’s best scorer left the game in the first half due to a foot injury that sidelined him for the rest of the game. His teammates limited the Bears to a 33.3 % from the field but didn’t score in the last three minutes of the game.
Freshman Zhaire Smith was the Red Raiders’ top scorer with 15 points but he also committed five turnovers, while senior Justin Gray had13 but fouled out. The next game is scheduled for Wednesday in Stillwater against Oklahoma State.
Here below you can find the best actions of the game, including Zhaire Smith’s usual amount of dunks.
