This basketball team is good, and we already knew it, but what’s happening in this fantastic season is going over the imagination of the most optimistic fan. With the victory over Oklahoma, 88-78 the final score, Texas Tech maintains the solitary lead of the Big 12, goes 16-0 at home, and defeated at least once every single conference team.
The Sooners came to Lubbock with the intention to fight tooth and nail, and for 37 minutes they stayed in the game, leading multiple times in the score and putting up a hard fight, but they were unable to answer to Texas Tech’s acceleration in the final minutes.
Spotlights were obviously on Oklahoma’s Trae Young, but the Red Raiders made a perfect work to limit him to 4/16 from the field an 0/9 from the three-point line. On the other side, Keenan Evans was the matador, scoring 26 points, but was helped by the teammates going in double-figures.
