This week, there are injuries for both teams that could affect the outcome of the game. There are injuries on both teams, they are listed below:
Texas Tech
Alan Bowman: Lung, Questionable
This one is tricky. It’s arguably the biggest game of the year so Bowman will definitely want to play. He was in the hospital for a few days, so I’m guessing that Bowman will probably not play this weekend against Texas.
Dakota Allen: Knee, Questionable
It was Allen’s knee, not his hand that kept him out of the majority of the game last weekend vs. Oklahoma. We will probably not have anything definitive until closer to game time but if I was a betting man (which I’m not), I bet we’ll see Allen suited up on Saturday.
Kingsbury did not have anything definitive on the status of MLB Dakota Allen, #TexasTech's leading tackler, who missed the last 3 quarters with a left knee injury.

Jacob Hines: Knee, Out For Season
It appears that Hines suffered a severe knee injury against Oklahoma last Wednesday as he announced via Twitter that his season was over. Look for Madison Akamnonu to step up and play all the snaps at the left guard position.
Want to thank Everyone at Tech for making these past two years some of the best of my life. I’m disappointed that my senior season was cut short, but excited to see the team finish the year strong. #TTVE

Connor Killian: Foot, Doubtful
We have little to no information on Killian’s injury other than it was a foot injury and that he’s been out the past couple of weeks. If he’s ready to go, I expect him to play as Coach Kingsbury wants to preserve Tyler Carr’s redshirt if he can.
Texas
Colin Johnson: Knee, Probable
Johnson tweaked his knee in practice and is probable to play Saturday. He was said to be leaving on crutches. Coach Herman said that he will most likely play Saturday.
Update: Johnson has been ruled OUT for tomorrow with the knee injury.
Texas coach Tom Herman says WR Collin Johnson tweaked his knee in practice but is still expected to play vs. Texas Tech. Johnson was on crutches leaving practice tonight.

Marqez Bimage: Shoulder, Out
Bimage is out this weekend with a dislocated shoulder injury.
Breckyn Hager: Elbow, Will Play
Breckyn Hager will play this weekend. He will be on a limited snap count, but his presence will be lifting to that entire defense.
More Texas injury news: DE Breckyn Hager (elbow) is cleared as of now but will likely be limited Saturday. CB Davante Davis (neck) is cleared and good to go. S Brandon Jones (ankle) is still day-to-day and will be evaluated again.
