Last week was tough for Texas Tech. Not only because they let another victory slip through their hands, but because starting quarterback, Alan Bowman fell victim to yet another injury.
Earlier in the season, Bowman suffered a collapsed lung in a loss against West Virginia. The injury forced him to miss one game. In last week’s loss against Oklahoma, Bowman suffered a flare up of the already existing injury. The injury forced the quarterback to spend a substantial amount of time in the hospital.
Although there is some good news, Today the star freshman quarterback was released from the hospital. Bowman took to Instagram to update his followers saying, “we out Pt. 2.” Head coach Kliff Kingsbury announced that Bowman would be able to rejoin anbd particapte in team activities.
While his status is still up in the air for the Red Raiders game against Texas this week, it is certainly good news that his condition is improving.
