The Red Raiders snapped their 2-game losing streak on Tuesday, as they overcame a 15-point deficit early in the second half to defeat the Cowboys by five points. Following Kansas and West Virginia’s losses against respectively Oklahoma and TCU, Texas Tech (16-4, 5-3) is again only one game away from the Big-12-leaders Jayhawks (16-4, 6-2), alongside three other teams.

In a fairly crowded United Supermarkets Arena, the Red Raiders started the game finding a good 3-point efficiency (12-6), but suffered again in the paint, as they allowed many second-chance shots to their opponents. At the halftime, Oklahoma State led 37-25, and after two minutes of the second part, the score was 41-26.

Led by Keenan Evans (26 points + 5 assists) and Jarrett Culver (career-high 25 points + 8 rebounds), the Red Raiders put up a furious comeback, gaining the lead with 4:33 minutes remaining and not leaving it anymore.
