Seven days ago, Texas Tech celebrated one of the best games of its history, the victory over No. 2 West Virginia, and the two-week streak inside the AP Top 25, a fact that never happened before in school history.
In this short timeframe, things changed with mind-numbing speed, and a team celebrated as one of the best in the country suffered two losses that heavily resized expectations.
In the second loss of the week, the Red Raiders scored season-low 52 points, and they were led by freshman Zhaire Smith, who had ten. Fellow freshman Jarrett Culver had once again the highest number of rebounds, six, and Keenan Evans offered four assists.
