HIGHLIGHTS: No. 8 Texas Tech - Texas 58-67

The Red Raiders come back from Austin with a L, but they had some good plays

NCAA Basketball: Texas Tech at Texas Brendan Maloney-USA TODAY Sports

The third Big 12 away game was fatal to the Red Raiders, as they lost to Texas and saw their conference record drop to 5-2, and in particular to 1-2 in games not played in the United Supermarket Arena.

Despite four players having more than ten points and Jarrett Culver brushing the double-double with nine rebounds, Texas Tech suffered against a very athletic team that defended with intensity. The four aforementioned players scored 53, and the rest of the team had five.

In any case, there isn’t much time to stop and think about the loss, as the Red Raiders are waited by another away game on Saturday in Ames, where they’ll face Iowa State. The Cyclones have a 10-7 record but they lay at the bottom of the Big 12, with one win and five losses within the conference.
