If someone thought a vibrant game was needed to celebrate the first-ever top-10 showdown in Lubbock, he was certainly satisfied. The Red Raiders won their fifteenth game of the season beating West Virginia by one, after having trailed for the most part of the game.
The Mountaineers and their press defense were difficult to manage for the home team in the first half, as Texas Tech had 10 turnovers in this span, and the Mountaineers were capable to take advantage of this, leading by seven at the break.
In the second half, the Red Raiders didn’t give up the fight and created a hard-fought game, led by an expected player, Keenan Evans, and by an unexpected one, Brandone Francis, who had season highs in minutes and points.
Here are highlights of the game.
