Should we be more excited for football or basketball season?
— Cooper Burnett (@cooptr34) August 9, 2017
This is a tough question. Personally, I love football season. Winning or losing, it’s the best time of year, not to mention tailgating is always top notch. No matter what condition I foresee our program being in, I will be just as emotional invested as per usual. However, Chris Beard is building a program. The realist in me sees more success in the near future with our basketball program compared to our football program.
Will the players wear the double T at the first game? Would make a strong point if they did not.

Trust and believe they will wear the Double T on their uniforms. The uniforms have already been created by Under Armor for the first game and they are probably already going through fittings. There is no way the university is going to waste the money on asking Under Armor to develop new uniforms without the Double T for their moral compass. It’s all about the dinero.
Should tech hire lane kiffen if kingsbury is let go

You’re trippin.
Would Kirby consider Dave Aranda if Kliff doesn't make it back next season? Would he consider Tech?
— Bobby Odom (@Upodom_bob) August 9, 2017
Bobby, I dig this question. I like Aranda. He has gaps to fill this year to continue holding opponents to the fewest touchdowns and finishing fifth in scoring defense. Aranda has an opportunity to develop young players. I am excited to see what he can do. That will be critical for hypothetically developing Tech’s football program as a whole if he lands in West Texas. Let’s hope he accomplishes a little short of fifth place, so LSU doesn’t invest too much in Aranda and we can afford him.
Kent, that is a valid point. I don’t think it will be Kliff 2.0 as I believe Cumbie has had the opportunity and time to develop behind another great head coach in Gary Patterson. The more he learns from several head coaches and their coaching styles, the better Cumbie will be.
