Texas Tech knocked out of Big 12 Tourney by Texas, 61-52.

Tech lost on the road again, reinforcing its inability to win outside of the United Supermarkets Arena. The Red Raiders managed only two wins away from home this season, a statistic that must frustrate coach Chris Beard immensely.

• Tech was 35 percent from the field and 63 percent from the free throw line.
• Tech was 5/19 from the three-point line.
• Coach Beard inserted Temple and Millinghaus into the starting lineup last night. This was the first time we have seen a starting five featuring Gray, Temple, Millinghaus, Smith, and Evans.

While this has to be the most disappointing loss of the the season for the Red Raiders, there is still might be more basketball to play. Red Raider fans are going to have to wait and see if the NIT extends an invitation to play.
