The Big 12 QBs look solid. Oklahoma State’s Mason Rudolph and Kansas State’s Jesse Ertz are definitely in the Top 5 nationally. Also, keep an eye on Florida transfer Will Grier playing for the West Virginia Mountaineers.

Jett Duffy vs Xavier Martin? Good question. Both are dual threat QBs and measure in at about the same height and weight. Martin received offers from Colorado State, New Mexico and Tulane making him a higher commodity than Duffy. Duffy received one other offer from Nevada. However, seeing Duffy was already suspended from the university even though he will be eligible in the fall, I would take Martin over Duffy. Texas Tech needs a mentally strong leader as a QB not a head case. But don’t forget about Tyler Junior College quarterback McLane Carter coming into the program at mid-term. He could shake some things up.

I love me some fried cheese, but you can’t beat that green chili cheeseburger from Blue Sky. Being from New Mexico, it earns the seal of approval.

My vote - Texas Tech left fielder Cody Farhat. Did you see that incredible diving catch in the top of the 5th inning against UTSA. That highlight reel was pretty. But then again, I always lean toward giving defense love in any sport. And Tech’s baseball defense is clutch.

Can we have Kliff back? Bro, he hasn’t left. And when he does, I don’t want any sloppy seconds. A clean break is always best.

If it is one thing Texas Tech football is good at it is offense. Kliff can develop incredible quarterbacks, no doubt in my mind. I am sure another gunslinger is soon to be discovered. There are a couple defensive players in his recruiting class that could make an impact, but in terms of transforming the defense overnight, I don’t think that is possible. Then again there are miracles in sports.

Yes. Why? Because we are a baseball school. And the team is legit.
