Few minutes after the Red Raiders handled the Wolf Pack the first loss of the season, 82-76 with an overtime, coach Beard addressed the media discussing the aspects that led his team to the victory.
His first appreciation was for the crowd, as students massively attended the game and 9,872 spectators were the season high. Among many topics, he also praised the defense for generated turnovers.
Alongside with their coach, senior guard Keenan Evans, who erupted with career-high 32 points, and freshman guard Zhaire Smith shared their satisfaction for this important victory.
