On Friday, Texas Tech faced Abilene Christian in its final tune-up game before the beginning of the Big 12 schedule. The Red Raiders showed they’re ready for Baylor, next Friday at 7 p.m., as they offered another strong defensive performance.
Indeed, the Wildcats only scored 47 points (15 in the first half and 32 in the second) and never seemed to be a threat for the Red Raiders, that had their offensive problems too, as they turned the ball over 13 times and went 17/34 from the free-throw line.
Senior forward Zach Smith had a huge game, as he scored 16 points shooting 7/8 from the field, and had six rebounds. Three others had double-digit performances, while all the players had some minutes on the field.
Here there are the highlights of the game.
