1. Oklahoma Sooners (+2)
I’ve been putting this off long enough, but it’s time to recognize Oklahoma as the best team in the conference. TCU can change that this weekend, though.
2. TCU Horned Frogs (+2)
TCU took care of business against Texas and proved its defense is among the nation’s elite.
3. West Virginia Mountaineers (+3)
The Mountaineers edged out a gritty victory against last week’s No. 1 team, Iowa State.
4. Oklahoma State Cowboys (-2)
The OK State defense was less than OK against OK last week.
5. Iowa State Cyclones (-4)
Well, it was fun while it lasted. The Clones are still a really good team, but their Big 12 title chances are dwindling.
6. Texas Longhorns (-1)
If the Longhorns win out, they’ll finish this year 7-5. Not the start Texas fans were looking for under Tom Herman.
7. Kansas State Wildcats (-)
K-State is a win away from bowl eligibility, but the Wildcats have to beat West Virginia, No. 15 Oklahoma State, or No. 21 Iowa State to make that happen.
8. Texas Tech Red Raiders (-)
Currently riding a four-game losing streak, Tech is in must-win mode against Baylor this weekend to save their hopes of bowl eligibility - and Kliff Kingsbury’s job.
9. Baylor Bears (-)
The Bears finally got their first win of the season and did so in dominating fashion. Oddly enough, Baylor has more momentum going into this weekend’s game than Texas Tech.
10. Kansas Jayhawks (-)
Baylor was their only chance for a win this year, and now Kansas will add another historically terrible season to the school record books.
