It was a weird game, but the Red Raiders also managed this

The Thanksgiving weekend and the relative caliber of the opponent could be limiting factors for the attendance, but more than 6,600 fans showed to see the Red Raiders stomping over Savannah State and going 6-0 in the season.

The Tigers showed a fast-paced offense that included many fast 3 pointers, but Texas Tech limited them to the 24.4% from beyond the arc, also outscoring opponents in rebounds, 49-30, and turnovers, 16-11.

The Red Raiders will play again on next Thursday, as they’ll travel to New York to face No. 20 Seton Hall in the Madison Square Garden, for the Under Armour Reunion.
