HIGHLIGHTS: Texas Tech - Maine 83-44

A great first half lifts the Red Raiders to a 2-0 record

NCAA Basketball: Big 12 Media Day Denny Medley-USA TODAY Sports

On Tuesday, the Red Raiders basketball team played their second game of the season, facing America East’s Maine. The match wasn't expected to be a hard test, and in fact, the Black Bears come back to Bangor with a 39-point deficit.

A huge first half for Texas Tech, 49-13, allowed coach Beard to widen rotations, and many players had many minutes to increase their experience and the feeling with teammates.

The best scorer was senior guard Keenan Evans with 12 points, but eight players scored five points or more. The next game is scheduled for Saturday, when Boston College will face Texas Tech at 11 am at the Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame Tip-off in Uncasville, Connecticut.

Here there are highlights of the victory over the Black Bears and, yes, I’ve got some three ball.
